Daily Journal #41: BNW Research

I am still trying to find 4 sources for my research project. I’ll try my best to do that by tonight. I feel like I can discuss my topic for 5-7 minutes in front of the class because it’s not that hard. I still need to do more research on synthetics in order to know and understand what I’m going to talk about.

Daily Journal #40: Vague Pronouns

Puma Suede

Welcome back! 

Puma suede shoes are trending right now because they’re comfortable. Not only are the Pumas comfortable, but they are also nice because they look so cute with a simple outfit. For example, if you wear leggings and a crop top, the Pumas will make your outfit look complete. There are many different colors you can choose from. However, the red puma suedes are trending the most because they look better than the other colors. I have superfluous Pumas, and I don’t even wear most of them due to the fact that I love my blue Pumas because you can wear them with anything and everything.  

     

 
You can get these shoes at footlocker or the sheik store. Puma Suedes are usually $90, but you can get them cheaper if you go to the fashion district. If you buy a pair of shoes, you’ll probably fall in love with them because they’re so comfortable and amazing. 

 

Ripped Jeans

Ripped jeans are very fashionable because the jeans make one look really nice. Before, many people didn’t like wearing jeans due to the fact that the ripped jeans were a sign of poverty. However, people wear ripped jeans now because of the style. One can literally wear ripped jeans everywhere they go because it’s always nice to look casual and fashionable at the same time. There are many cute shirts that look good with ripped jeans.

As you can see, ripped jeans are no longer a sign of poverty, which is why celebrities wear them as well. Don’t they look so cute? Well, if you like them, you can literally get ripped jeans anywhere. Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe usually have them for $25-$30. Every time I go to those stores with my mom, I obstinately beg my mom for ripped jeans because I’m obsessed with them. The jeans are  affordable, so if you don’t have a pair, you should go buy some for a really good deal.

2. Andrew smiled at his father as Andrew threw him the ball.
3. After Mrs. Morales had scolded little Sarai, Sarai regretted her rudeness.
4. When President Nixon met with Chairman Mao, Nixon felt a new chapter in history had begun.
5. Juan gave his brother a copy of Brave New World, which was Juan’s favorite book.

Daily Journal #36: Argument Essay

I feel most comfortable with my claim and my reasons because I kind of have an idea of what I’m going to say. I feel like I don’t really need to review anything because I know have to do and write an argument essay, but I still don’t know what evidence I’m going to use. I really do need to catch up on my reading of Brave New World because I’m barely on chapter 10. However, I’ll try to finish reading by the end of this weekend.
